A dashboard can have great UI and still have terrible UX.

A dashboard can have great UI and still have terrible UX. Why?

Because good dashboard design isn’t about showing more data. It’s about helping users understand what matters and decide what to do next.

When designing a dashboard, I look at questions like:

→ What changed?
→ Why did it change?
→ What needs my attention?
→ Who needs to act?
→ What should happen next?

A dashboard with 20 charts may look impressive.

But if a user has to search through all of them to find one important issue, the experience is already creating friction.

The best dashboards reduce the gap between information and action.

Less noise.
More clarity.
Better decisions.

That’s what good Product UX should achieve.
